• On November 6, 2011 Chevrolet and New Balance gives away a brand new Chevrolet Cruze as grand prize to one (1) lucky Chevrolet-New Balance Power Run 2011 finisher.

On November 6, 2011, Chevrolet shall sport its newest collaboration with Global athletic leader, New Balance in an event that is expected to usher in 10,000 people to gear up their running shoes and push their limits by participating on the Chevrolet – New Balance Power Run 2011 at Bonifacio Global City.
The event aims to showcase Chevrolet and New Balance’s leadership and heritage in their respective fields and demonstrate each brand’s product superiority and innovation while it challenges consumers to achieve new levels of performance.
Chevrolet in the Philippines has become more and more endeared to the modern Filipino through value-laden product offerings and aftersales services. However, apart from great cars and worry-free aftersales service, Chevrolet Philippines – The Covenant Car Company Inc. also supports the important values of healthy living which paved the way for its partnership with leading athletic brand, New Balance to create an event that will inspire people to take on the challenge of running.

Running enables an individual to gain the freedom to do more, experience more and have more fun along every kilometer of life’s journey. But if these incentives are not enough to drive you to join the Chevrolet- New Balance Power Run, then the prospect of taking home (1) one brand new Chevrolet Cruze will. All you have to do is successfully register and finish the Power race and you are automatically a contender to bring home a New Chevy Cruze.
The Chevrolet Cruze is a car that ignites the senses with its modern styling, confident stance, dynamic performance and agile handling. Marked with Euro-, China-, Australian NCAP 5-star safety rating. It comes in 6-speed automatic and 5-speed manual transmission variants.
The Cruze* received the highly coveted Philippine 2010-2011 Car of the Year (COTY) Award given by the Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI), a non-profit organization consisting of 50 plus motoring experts and journalists from various automotive outfits. Other Chevrolet and New Balance premium items will be given away to lucky runners. Also, in celebration of its 100 Years of automotive heritage, Chevrolet shall also give out special prizes to 100th finishers during the event .

The Power Run event is composed of three categories – 5K (P850), 10K (P950) and 25K(P1,150) race categories. Registered participants will receive a race kit which is composed of a New Balance technical shirt, race bib and timing chip. 25K participants will be given an additional Souvenir Medallion. The event takes place on Bonifacio Global City, Taguig and assembly time starts at 4:00am. Registration starts on August 24 for online and September 1 for in-store. October 16 is the deadline for registration.
